With the purchase of Choiceworks, users gain access to all the award-winning features that have made it a widely used app in classrooms and homes worldwide for over a decade. No additional in-app purchases or subscriptions are required, and there are no limitations on the number of boards or images that can be created and shared.
The Schedule Board within Choiceworks simplifies task completion by incorporating an "all done" column to track progress towards a motivating reward. Timers can be added to tasks or activities, and schedules are easily editable and fully customizable. Once created, schedules are automatically saved.
The Waiting Board focuses on teaching waiting skills such as taking turns and not interrupting. Users can begin by reading the companion book, "When Do I Have to Wait?" The waiting board displays the reason why the child is waiting and allows for setting a timer to indicate the wait time. Meanwhile, the child can select an activity to engage in during the wait.
The Feelings Board serves as a valuable tool for helping children understand and express their emotions. Users can start by reading the companion book, "When I Get Upset," which provides an example of how children can recognize emotions and choose coping strategies. On the Feelings Board, users can help children indicate their feelings from a range of options, select coping strategies, and request activities to help them feel better or reconnect with others.
The Feelings Scale assists users in identifying, managing, and coping with their emotions throughout different environments and times of the day. By tracking their feelings on the board, users can analyze data to identify trends and determine if certain tasks or environments affect outcomes. This information allows for adjustments in environments and schedules to achieve better results.
